John S. Couch

Head of Creative, eBay Enterprise and Magento

John S. Couch is the Head of Creative for eBay Enterprise and Magento. He is responsible for driving design and brand strategy for new products.

Couch was formerly an Entertainment and Technology Specialist focusing on cross-platform content strategies and development for television, film, Internet, mobile, video games, and emerging new media platforms. Earlier roles include VP at both CBS Interactive and Digital Kitchen, as well as noteworthy positions at FLO TV, Wired Magazine, and the Internet pioneer Hotwired. His many contributions have led to the success of Survivor, Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and the CSI franchise.

As a regular speaker on the future of entertainment and transmedia storytelling, Couch has presented at NATPE’s LATV Fest, Promax BDA, and the HOW Design Conference in Austin. He is a standing member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Writer’s Guild of America, and has judged the Blue Ribbon Panel for the Interactive Television Primetime Emmy Awards. He is also a screenplay writer, and is fluent in Japanese.

Brian Bolten

Head of Strategy

Brian Bolten is the Head of Strategy for True Action. Brian brings almost 20 years of working with top organizations to deliver on business objectives through meeting consumers’ needs throughout their journey.

At True Action, Brian developed the proprietary Customer Experience Journey (CEJ), anchoring Forrester’s evaluation of the company as a Strong Performer in the Customer Engagement space.

Brian’s recent and past experiences include strategy and marketing services work with Frito-Lay, FedEx, Motorola, Sprint, Bank of America, American Express, Chrysler, Ahold USA and eBay.

Brian graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and also holds a MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Regina Gray

Head of Analytics

Regina brings 13 years of cross-channel marketing services experience in a number of leading management and consulting roles. She has been involved in the creation, development and implementation of new products and services for both digital and offline marketing programs for numerous leading brands, including: American Express, William Sonoma, Wells Fargo, 1-800 Flowers, Hilton Hotels, Brookstone, Estee Lauder, Nestle’ and Lord & Taylor.

Regina comes to True Action from Experian where she held a number of roles including VP of Analytics and VP of Strategic Services. Regina has led her teams in developing data-driven insights and translating them into sustainable strategic value for a myriad of industry categories including: retail, catalog, publishing, financial, travel, fundraising, insurance, consumer packaging goods, telecommunications, cable and health care industries.

Regina hails from the great Garden State and graduated with honors from both, Rutgers University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, and Montclair State University, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Statistics.
